I never imagined how much my years in music would shape my career in tech. With a Master’s in Piano Performance, I honed skills—attention to detail, problem-solving, and perseverance—that I’ve carried into every endeavor since. After teaching piano and working as an accompanist, I sought a new challenge and found it in web development. The shift ignited my creativity and keeps me engaged every day.

As a web developer, I’ve worked with unique codebases for a variety of clients, refining front-end styles and integrating databases and APIs. I love troubleshooting problems with existing code as much as I enjoy building solutions from scratch. My Agile experience has sharpened my ability to collaborate with teams, turning complex requirements into seamless, user-focused results. I’m driven to solve problems and enhance experiences—skills I first mastered at the piano, now applied to the digital world.

When I’m not coding, I can be found hanging out with my family in East Tennessee. With 4 boys between the ages of 2 and 15, I’m likely watching a soccer game, trying to keep my toddler out of trouble or going on long walks with my husband.
